Water & Omega-3 Programme — Your Questions Answered (Part 2)

Thomas Freitag

In Part 2 we answer the most common questions about the water and Omega-3 programme: the right dosage, quality criteria for fish oil, and why the order of supplementation matters.

6. Water, Omega-3 and the 7-Step Program

Water and Omega-3 demonstrate how health works together: a single component only unfolds its effect through interaction. The 7-step program from EIGW.org for improved physical performance is built on exactly this idea.

1

Ideal Water

2

Movement

3

Deacidification

4

Detoxification

5

Nutrition

6

Recovery

7

Performanceoptimization

The program begins with water as a foundation and leads to targeted supply of high-quality nutrients — which also includes Omega-3. You'll find the common thread in the article on the 7-step program. And if you want to implement the program as a community: that's exactly what the SYN-ART movement is for.

7. Don't believe us — test it yourself

You don't have to believe us about the difference that water quality makes. Our principle is: Believe nothing, test everything yourself.

Important for all tests:

Compare your tap water with ideal water according to Vincent criteria — for example from a Drink Fit Water Station or lightly mineralized mineral water such as Plose, Lauretana or Voss.

These experiments are an invitation to observe, not scientific proof and not a health claim.

8. Frequently Asked Questions

Why is water more important than Omega-3?

Water takes priority as a transport medium — without transport, neither nutrients nor Omega-3 reach where they're needed. Both belong together.

What does Omega-3 do to the cell membrane?

Omega-3 is incorporated into the cell membrane and keeps it soft, flexible and permeable. When Omega-6 fatty acids predominate, the membrane tends to become stiffer.

What is a good Omega-6:3 ratio?

A ratio of approximately 3:1 or lower is considered favorable. With today's diet, it's significantly higher for many people — you can determine your own value through a blood test.

Where do I get Omega-3?

Good sources: fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, herring), algae, as well as flax oil, hemp oil and walnut oil.

Does drinking lots of water alone help?

Water is an indispensable foundation — but performance is created through interaction. The 7-step program shows the bigger picture.
